I was sick on Easter, so I was not able to go with my husband to my in-laws. They had a big chocolate bunny and ate most of it, but decided to save the head of it for me.
Have you ever received such a present?
Easter gift from in-laws was cut off chocolate bunny head only!!! No card, no gift, just a gnawed off head!?
I wouldn't take it personal it was probably just a joke. It could be that your husband ate the body of the bunny on his way home and left the head for you and feeling ashamed of his chocolate binge he told you otherwise. I would check his vehicle for chocolate stains.
Reply:No never received anything like that. I would imagine that anything that was for me would be untouched. So please clarify did they have the choco bunny for everyone to take a piece and so they sent a piece home to you since you missed the dinner? If yes, then hmmmm that might not be a bad thing because they did think of you. Otherwise, I am concerned.
Reply:I think that's pretty rude. But they may have thought that it was funny and that you'd see the humor in it. (At least they saved you something).
Reply:wow, you got a bunny with a broken ear and now a bunny head...if you don't want the gift just say no.
