My wife does 99% of the chores isn't this a good thing?

Being serious here. I do next to nothing in the house. My wife actually wants things this way. I try to help, she just redoes everything anyway, so I usually go to the gym, or watch football. Hey, if she wants it her way, fine by me knock yourself out. Only thing I do is vacuum a few rooms which takes about 7 minutes.

She really gets off on cleaning, I think she's a little type A which is actually a benefit.

Hey don't anyone be mad at me, she likes it this way.

Only thing is, I rarely show appreciation, should I buy her a card or something ? I mean It's the least i could do right? spend a buck or two on a card?

happy easter

My wife does 99% of the chores isn't this a good thing?
She probably doesn't like your cleaning because you are doing a half a s s job of it and she gets irritated having to do it over again. If you want a job done right you gotta do it yourself.

It sounds to me like she's a bit obsessive over the cleaning. I think since she is so nice to you and lets you out of helping with the house you should show her ALOT of appreciation. Give her massages, pay her more attention and buy her something better than a stupid card. The majority of us women really do not like cards. We want jewelry and flowers you fool!!!
Reply:take her out to dinner to a really nice restaurant. take her to a spa for a half day or full day treatment. those are two really good ways to show your appreciation. maybe you can take out the trash?
Reply:I think blokes should contribute more to household chores. Both me and my husband work 50-60 hours per week each but I'm the only one that does the cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping etc. All he does is put the bins out and take the dog for a walk! He even grumbles about doing that!

Any other wives find themselves asking if they will do something "for me". Eg " can you do the washing up for me or can u hoover up please for me"? I asked my husband to do the washing up occasionally - he ends up buying a dishwasher! Who's the one that fills/emptys it?! Not him!

In answer to your question, yes - you should be more grateful and buy her the odd bunch of flowers or chocolates -it is the least you can do!!
Reply:such women do exist, and when we clean we like it our way...so its usually easier just to stay out of our way. But the best thing you can do...is not create any messes and always pick up after yourself. Meaning put your dishes in the sink, throw away your own trash, put your clothes in the hamper, if you pee all over the toilet clean it up, leave the bathroom sink clear of spit and hair, etc. Don't just leave it lying around for us to pick up...that may set us off on a tirade. And just asking if you can help sometimes is nice too. Just in case we aren't feeling well or tired it'd be nice to know that you are at least willing to help.
Reply:Yes, a card, flowers, and just "asking" if there is anything you can do to help her. Even if she says no, it's important that she knows you are "willing" to help, so that she does not become resentful. Also, compliment her hard work..........example: "Gosh, I am so lucky to have you, our house always looks, smells so clean"
Reply:Hey, if it's ok with her, it's fine. I personally don't mind doing most of the work (I'd say it's about a 90:10 division), but he also does all the outside stuff, like mowing the yard, trimming hedges, etc. (I do help sometimes). I realize the biggest portion of his work is only part of the year, but, hey, I hate those things. However, if she does ask for help, you should help her. That's how you show appreciation. Or ASK her how she wants it done. How about hiring a cleaning lady to do some of it. It would have to be picked up someone for the cleaing lady to come, but it would free up a lot of time for your wife (dusting, mopping, all the mundane crap), but say don't ask the cleaning lady to do the laundry, so your wife can still do it if she wants. Would your wife be ok with this? Maybe just do this one weekend and take your wife out to show her some appreciation. Whether or not we admit it, we want to hear thank you sometimes.
Reply:Be thankful and show her some appreciation! Bring her flowers home one day and tell her how much you appreciate her keeping your house so clean. Just let her know how much you appreciate her and what she does. Words go a long way.
Reply:ummm dopnt no if thats good on ur part. but that cam be good on yur part if she doesnt mind and loves doing 99% of the chores.
Reply:Buy her flowers!! Or clean the house before she wakes up one morning!
Reply:Firstly, It sounds Like your Wife has a Compulsive Cleaning Disorder!

Secondly, Always Better to Show Appreciation!

Thirdly, You Lucky,Lucky! MAN!!

Easter This soon???
Reply:It's nice that you've considered showing her some appreciate for the work she does around the house. But instead of buying her a card or something of that sort, why not give her a full body massage after she's done and ready to relax? It's a lot better than a card, and will allow the two of you to share more time together, and enjoy each other's company. She'll love you for it!
Reply:Tell her your appreciation or show her is the best way.
Reply:man you are living a dream dude! wow give her lots of appreciation!
Reply:Throw her the bone dude. Like all the time. You've got a good.....wait.........great woman. "Why fix it if it ain't broke?" Sounds like you've got a pretty cool wife.
Reply:you buy her a piece of jewelry instead. dont be so dang cheap!
Reply:For some people, housework is meditative. They actually enjoy keeping the house. My friend's husband works every day, yet does a thorough cleaning of the house on the weekends, including the laundry. Take your wife out to dinner occasionally. Go see a movie, or a play.

Don't overdo these expressions of appreciation, and don't tell her why you're doing it, because it will take away from her enjoyment. Just take her out because you want to spend time with the woman you love, and she'll like that.

Save the flowers for her birthday, or anniversary.
Reply:Does your wife do this because she wants to or because you do it so badly that she feels she has to? Assuming she actually wants to I suggest that you give her a gift - every week! Take her out for dinner or dancing (or both). Buy her flowers or chocolates (or both). You get the idea. You have got it knocked and if you don't show your appreciation weekly eventually she will resent it.
Reply:Lucky you man, if she enjoys whatever chores she does, then don't feel bad about it, count yourself luck to have such a woman. All you can do is show appreciation, not just by buying a card or flowers but your actions/attitude towards her. I don't think you can be buying her a card or some perfume every now and again appreciation really matters. At times when she has just done something perfectly nice, shower with some word of praise and tell you are proud to have her, she will feel good and will keep of finding means and ways of doing her best. Enjoy your life.
Reply:Happy easter? lol. Okay so you think it's easter hah? thats why you think you married superwoman!

If you're serious, which I doubt you are, you should be thankful for such a wife and do more then spend a buck or two on a card!!
Reply:I am a wife of a man who does absolutely nothing around the house. He works and I feel that it is my duty as a his wife to show him respect by keeping our beautiful house clean and a hot meal for him when he comes home from a hard day of work. I cook, clean, gut the grass, take out the garbage, and anything else that has to be done. I am a stay at home mom/wife and love it, I wouldn't want it any other way. He likes it alot when he comes home to a clean house with a hot meal waiting for him. I love being this person. We have four children and he helps with the kids. But the house is my responsibility. Yes, you should show a little appreciation to her. You are lucky to have a wonderful wife.
Reply:The best thing to show your appreciation is by keeping everything in order and refrain from making anything dirty. Thanking her for keeping things tidy is in order and would probably be better than a card. Give her a KISS!!!
Reply:Get the woman some jewlery or flowers be a little spontaneous!or maybe take her out to a nice dinner!Tell her the house lookes wonderful and give her a hug/kiss/thankyou.Offer her a massage when she is done or a hot bath. And try not to be a slob if you are one?If it has to be a card make it something sweet!lol maybe with candy?
Reply:Hey when you know it...then why do you ask???
Reply:you have to be lying, there is no way such women exist
Reply:She might be doing chores so she can have an excuse not to go to the gym and workout.

Would you send your picture to..?

someone (who has difficulty admitting they like you)as a "wish you were here" card, for easter?

Would you send your picture to..?
Why not! but be aware he is not very quick on the uptake, do you want to be in control? because you will be.

Give him one chance.
Reply:yes, anyone who wants my photo can have it, no problem
Reply:Yes. No reason not to.
Reply:Nope, that wouldn't be better than an e-card

Over the TOP or what??? Sheesh!!?

Do you think that peeps should say thankyou when they recieve an e-mail card. Husband insists that it is right.

To me it is ridiculuous, E-mail cards are for fun.

He says people should not have to say thankyou for xmas, easter, new year cards but they should reply by email and say thankyou for Birthday E mail Cards.

At first i thought he was just winding me up but he is serious %26amp; gets upset if there is no reply saying thankyou.

Although this may seem really trivial which in my eyes it is, it causes problems as i have to remind my kids to send him a mail thanking him and they really cant be bothered.

I can understand if the card was posted, paid for etc, a thankyou is then in order maybe, but an EMAIL CARD!!! from a free site.

Tell me peeps what do you think?

By the way he is from Yugoslavia where small things mean a lot. Maybe that has something to do with it, but objective answers please. Thanks

Over the TOP or what??? Sheesh!!?
Ask him, to explain why, sounds like you just got upset with him about it before you even asked why. AND ALMOST ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION!!! Relax, talk to the man about it......

"By the way he is from Yugoslavia where small things mean a lot."

hehehe, and for this we all feel for you...
Reply:He should be happy when the Yahoo Greetings sends an email saying that the ecard was read. Any more than that means he is really asking too much. Unless there is some kind of tangible gift involved, there really is no need to say thank you for an ecard.

Does your family have any traditions?

With my family now, we always sit down to dinner at 5:00pm, we take a road trip twice a year, every Christmas I send out cards, and at Easter we trade white elephant (something that we already own that we give to another family member) presents.

What is your family tradition?

Does your family have any traditions?

My son is almost 2 and can identify the entire alphabet and the numbers 1-10. Should I have him Tested?

My wife and I noticed he realy liked my older son alphabet puzzle so we started telling him the letters as he picked them up and he would repeat it back to us. We got him flash cards for Easter and he can et all of them. Just yesterday he learned numbers with my wife going over them two times. As I said before he is not even two.

My son is almost 2 and can identify the entire alphabet and the numbers 1-10. Should I have him Tested?
ww that sounds great yes go get his iq tested!! he could be in college by age 10 with a degree by age 14 and you guys could be retired!!!lol have him tested though for real!!

why are there so many negative answers? r u guys jealous?i mean the person just asked a simple yes or no question lol if you're going to be negative you should keep it to yourself!!!
Reply:A great book for you to consider would be

Einstein Never Used Flash Cards: How Our Children REALLY Learn and Why They Need To Play More and Memorize Less by Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, PH.B. and Roberta Michnick Golinkoff, PH.D.
Reply:why would you want to get him tested?? thats great!! and I think at 2 the alphabet and numbers 1-10 should be known. I was able to use the computer, and type my name when I was 2..
Reply:What's the point in testing him? Maybe he's a genius, maybe he's not, whatever the outcome, nothing will be done about it at this age. He'll still have to start out going to preschool %26amp; kindergarten just like all other kids, it's not like he'll be skipping grades that early. I think parent interaction helps a lot with a childs learning, it's nice that he picks up on things fast. But don't revolve your life %26amp; his on him being a genius, you'll only put too much stress on him as a young child. Just go with the flow %26amp; see what happens. Parents get too caught up in who has the smartest child %26amp; whos child did this sooner etc, etc, all children develope on different levels, so accept it %26amp; don't dwell over it. Who cares whos child is smartest at the alphabet, in a few yrs that may change.
Reply:Oh wow! It's like baby genius's 2! That is just like my cousin Cameron. He is 5 and he is reading and writing and more at a 3rd to 4th grade level. My aunt is trying to get him tested but it is way $$$. They are still trying.

Now, your little guy is really smart so I think you should definetly get him tested! Maybe you can find a cheaper place in your area!!! Good Luck!!!

hope this helped

Reply:my 1.5 year old did the same thing just keep on him til he's older then when he 4.5 get him tested at your local school for gifted and talented
Reply:Kudos to you for taking the time to work with your son!!!! I teach a pre-school class with 18 mo.-two 1/2 yr. olds. We teach our kids these same skills. While it is not uncommon for children to be able to learn, it is uncommon for parents to take the time to work with them. Your son is a lucky little man. Keep working with him. You might consider teaching spanish or sign language. Children this age pick up a second language extremely rapidly! Congrats on your little smarty! And well done mom and dad!!! God bless
Reply:Tested for what? You don't mention any health problems...

He sounds totally average in the activities you mention! Continue to have fun with him!
Reply:you should be very proud, what is it you want to have him tested for, being gifted? why don't you let him enjoy his childhood before you have him labeled, there is a lot of pressure on any child with a label, good or bad one, please reconsider
Reply:Why would you want to test him?

If his IQ is high, what difference will that make? If it is lower than you hope, what difference will THAT make?

(These are honest questions for you to consider in seriousness, not things I'm throwing sarcastically in your face.)

What will happen if you DON'T get him tested? Will he be any less smart or wonderful, if you don't have that number to label him?

Be aware that his school placement (and performance) will have far less to do with an IQ number than with his interest and engagement in the work. If he's got a genius IQ at age 2, but is bored by his classwork or doesn't feel motivated, he's still going to do poorly.

If he's got a "normal" IQ, but feels motivated and challenged, AND BELIEVES HE CAN, he'll still accomplish great things and quite possibly be at the head of his class.

Please consider your options and reasons for testing, and consider those questions carefully.

If you really feel it's for you, then go ahead!
Reply:You should have him tested.Well-this isn't totally irregular.

Just try some harder things with him.Maybe he won''t get that.
Reply:No, well I don't know but I think that's really great and you should be proud of him! =)
Reply:Way to Go!!!!!!!! You've got a little genius on your hands and you should be nothing but proud!! The best thing you can do is to support him and buy him toys, books anything that helps to encourage learning. Reward him for learning new things, that way when he gets older he's going to do great in school.
Reply:My son is the same. Just let him be a boy and play and have fun for now. He's intelligence will have its time. Actually I think it is pretty common for children that age to know that at this day and age.
Reply:It's not that unusual. He may be learning some things faster than your older son because has big brother as an example. Some kids just pick up things slightly faster. Also, sometimes kids will we be able to do something like that as long as keep working on it with them, but if they get out of practice, it gets lost in their memory a bit.

And while it is great that he can identify them, it will be a while before he understands what they mean, that numbers represent amounts and letters represent sounds.

Keep being amazed at all of the wonderful things he does, but I wouldn't rush to the testing center yet.
Reply:Nope.

Keep encouraging him but let him be a child. Let him play and develop his social skills. Like other respondents have said, it's not that unusual. Many children are reading at 3. Give him a few more years and if his teachers notice that he's "advanced," then I'd act on that. It's best to get a more unbiased opinion--every parent wants to think their child is an amazing genius!

I agree with what someone else said--what difference will it make if you find out his IQ is higher or lower than you excepted/hoped for? Will you love him less or put less effort into his development if you find out he's not "gifted" after all?

He's just a toddler--spare him the "testing" for as long as you can.
Reply:Tested for what? First, enjoy your child and remember he is who he is...genius or not. I would not have him tested for any kind of toddler genius thing, if that's what you mean. I would ask how are his social skills? Does he look you in the eye? Is his other development commensurate with his cognitive development? That is...are his motor skills advanced for his age or more like a nearly 2 year old? What of his language and social skills? Are they advanced, at age level, or are they a little behind? Try to think of your child global and remember all domains of development...motor, language, social, etc.
Reply:Tested for what? My oldest knew all of his shapes and colors and most of his numbers at two. My second didn't know any of them because he was more interested in playing and my youngest is kind of in the middle. Every child is different and learns different things at different speeds, it depends on what catches his eye and keeps his attention. I am not really sure what your question is here.
Reply:WOW!!!!!! That is impressive I definatly would go have him tested. I would also keep working with him.

Good luck.
Reply:Actually, you cannot test for giftedness (which is only for IQ) until later on. Your child is "advanced" . . . "gifted" is a term used for those who have been officially tested. So for all of us who have advanced children, we just have to wait until they are of "school age".

My daughter is like yours . . . she knew her alphabet by 16 months as well as shapes, colors, numbers, body parts . . . . and lots more. Our children just absorb what they are exposed to!! Keep feeding into the interests of your child . . . encourage them (but please don't drill . . . if they are natural learners, it's not necessary).

You should go to http://www.babycenter.com They have bulletin boards there . . . first you sign up (free of course) . . . then go find the Early Milestones Boards (they have the baby category and the toddler category). There you can share all your stories about your son's developments and can learn from other moms with advanced children. Lots of good resources too!! There is a Gifted board too - but those moms are of children who have already been tested for giftedness.

Here, you'll also find others who are advanced not in just academic stuff . . . but also art, music, athletics, speech, etc. I'm sure you'll find "home" there as I have!! You'll also get a better feel for where your child is at . . . not just a pat on the back!!
Reply:Well, that's great. But really why to get him tested? Children develop different, but unless he is reading and writting at an adult level, there's not much different from many kids, of course it's not the average child, and you should be proud, but don't exagerate dad. All parents think our kids are the best and more intelligent, they will always amazed us, but that's all. Enjoy your your 2 boys and feel proud of both.

Perfect semi formal makeup

Does anyone have a family member that goes totally overboard?

with gifts for holiday's, birthday's, etc. But only gives to people selectively. For instance sister in law spent over $300 on a custom easter basket for 2 1/2 month old grandson and bought her daughter 3 easter baskets one with gift card of $200 not including the contents, didn't acknowledge anyone else not even a Happy Easter! I think she does this to make everyone else feel inferior with gift giving. Does anyone else think it is tacky to make everyone sit down and watch the opening of baskets when not everyone is included? Or am I just bitter and jealous I wasn't included? My thoughts if you are not going to do for everyone, do yours privately with the ones you are.

Does anyone have a family member that goes totally overboard?
to give selectively to her grandson and daughter is okay... after all, it's her grandson and daughter... I give my kids baskets but I don't give them to my brothers kids...

but to make everyone sit down and watch the opening of the gifts is a bit much. it's not like it's their birthday. I agree with you that it should have been done privately. otherwise the other children are confused as to why the easter bunny didn't give them such elaborate gifts.

Sit her down and talk to her about how her actions hurt you and if she keeps doing it or doesn't care get rid of her cause she is cold and heartless. I'm quiet sure if you done that to her during sex she would be deeply offended as would I Good luck I think you should look for some one who has a better nature..

We don't talk anymore, but can someone explain what happened?

Two years ago I met a guy through my best friend and it becamse obvious that he liked me. At that point I had hardly talked to guys and had never been in a relationship (still the same). To make a long story short, I asked him if he liked me after lots of talking and he yes, but he's not ready for a relationship... but maybe down the road something could happen between us. Few months after that I thought we were going to go out just to casually have fun, but then he turned it more into a date. After that I never heard from him again. I tried to send him online cards on easter (we're both religious) and other holidays, but he NEVER replies. He also doesn't come online which leads me to believe that he has blocked me.

I'm over it now, but at the time, it was really hurtful and I was very close to telling him, hey you've hurt me, but I didn't get the chance. At Christmas, he even contacted me to go skating, but then he said later "I'm too busy". Why would he do this???

We don't talk anymore, but can someone explain what happened?
You may never really know the reason why but just take it as a blessing in disguise. You two weren't meant to be together at that time.

$50 Mall Gift Card?

I got a $50 mall gift card for easter that I can use at over 50 locations across Canada. I've decided to use it for an outfit for my summer holiday in Newfoundland. I also have a $40 Sears Gift Card from last Christmas. The climate and Newfoundland can be as low as ten degrees, and as high as twenty five degrees (celsius). So, can anyone put together an outfit with my $50 Mall Card (preffered stores are ae, aero, stitches, bluenotes and the gap) and my $40 Sears card? Best answer gets ten pints (my vote) and a thumbs up! Also an outfit if you'd like!! Thanks in advance!!!

$50 Mall Gift Card?
It depends on what part of the summer you're coming up on. in August and late July it gets warm and muggy but if you're going out to cape spear bring a sweater.

Get a pair of pants that zip off and become shorts 3/4 pants. That way if it is warm you have the shorts and the longer pants for the night. You want a cute tshirt to wear it and a light sweater to put on over incase you decide to spend a day on the ocean or out on cape spear.

If there is any money left over buy a sun hat. Even in the fog you burn.

Simple solution!

Find a new mate for your days and nights.

Because this girl is pre occupied by the thoughts of previous ones.

So you might be one day refereed as x b/f to her other new b/f.

Get rid of her, you already have taken pleasure out of her and discovered her, so try new girl and compare the difference of having sex with more than 2 girls.
Reply:She is obviously not over her ex you need to move on.
Reply:she oviously still likes her ex
Reply:Be nice try to talk to her and let her know how you felt when you were interrupted. Also talk to her about how she is always talking about her ex. She may not even realize it and might just be trying to reassure you that the place is nice. Try picking places where she has not gone out to. Second if she is so worried about her ex than she might not be over him yet. It might be time for a new girl. My rule is if you have company phone calls are limited to not getting answered or telling them that I have company to call back at such and such time. So that I am not rude to the person visiting at that time. She also needs to talk to her roomy and tell them not to interrupt while she has company.
Reply:she is playing with you...leave her and move ahead

i think you should split up.

Do you believe the Tooth Fairy exists?

I do. I saw her, God, and the Easter bunny playing cards together last night.

Do you believe the Tooth Fairy exists?
I used to be good friends with the Tooth Fairy when I was 5. Oh man, we had some killer times together! Then one day everything changed. She left me an effing quarter for my precious tooth and we haven't spoken since. Cheap bastard. However, last I heard he had surgery and now prefers to be called, "Tooth Gary". A filthy gambler too, figures!
Reply:I think you must be mistaken, God wasn't playing cards with us he was just stopping by for a minute to say hi. Pete and I don't let God play with us too often though, he always wins *mutters* omincient *shakes fist*.
Reply:I highly doubt this. I am the tooth fairy and I was not playing cards last night. I am also the Easter bunny and Santa Claus, but not in the holy trinity sense.

Hum... Should I really post this? Should I remove the trinity part or add some comment that since all patents play these three roles it some odd form of an omnipresent multiphaseic trinity concept? Is it worth 10 points? Do all people go through questions like this when posting answers? Will anyone ever reas it?
Reply:Sounds like one of those commercials for sleeping pills.
Reply:I was not there! Hmph! I would never hang out with God. You must be thinking of someone else! ;)

I'm been divorce for 6 weeks that I gave to my ex cause she wanted her freedom.I still love her .?

but she doesn't me.my question is I bought my daughter and her a card for Easter. My card for my ex. was for a friend should I have got one for a wife?also should I sign it love or just my name?

I'm been divorce for 6 weeks that I gave to my ex cause she wanted her freedom.I still love her .?
Just sign your name and for your daughter love Dad. Do'nt let her know how bad it hurts you that she is gone, she will take advantage of you
Reply:You're still in a state of transition. I think that was a very thoughtful thing to do. Remember, divorce is set up on the things YOU DON'T agree on. So if the air has been let out of the bag, don't spend too much time chasing it. I think it is the women who created the idea that divorce has to be mean and ugly, not the guys.
Reply:I am sorry to hear about your divorce. They can be very traumatic, especially when you are still in love with your wife/husband. You did right by getting her a card for a friend and you should only sign it with your name. You must try to start moving on with your life even though it may tear you up inside. You still have to keep in contact with her because of your daughter so you should try to be strong. Your daughter can tell that you are upset and this might also upset her. If your wife doesn't love you anymore, then she most likely has already started moving on with her life without you and you should do the same. I really hope the best for you.
Reply:No, that's good that U didn't get a wife card because she's not anymore, you know? But sign it just your name, she'll think that you've started to move on now %26amp; maybe she'll appreciate the thought more from that. Sorry about the divorce.

I have da kodak camera V603 da midnight black 1 it wont take pictuers a orange light comes on.How do I fix it?
Try recharging the batteries.

I have a similar model, when the orange light flashes, I push the middle button next to the screen (only once!), and the screen lights up.

I dont know why it does it, but that normally fixes mine.

Good luck, i know how frustrating cameras can be!

Myspace spam????

ok well i know ther is alot of spam on myspace especially the one with "easter e cards or something" well on my page there is a floating icon that says u have recieved a easter ecard. i already changed my password many times does anybody know how you get rid of it?

Myspace spam????
Edit your profile, and delete any HTML code that you didn't put there. Do it in your comments section, too.

Worse comes to worse there is a safe edit button to click to get rid of any comments that won't delete and code, too.

Finally, report to myspace customer service and delete any friends requests and mail from people you don't know or are obvious porn and spam profiles.
Reply:you need to delete all of your htmls or comments (i had this before and i deleted both). if it doesn't work, contact Myspace.
Reply:delete the comment or the post and change your password tom explains it all at this link:

Does the tail wag the dog? Does Hallmark match existing holidays, or do they make up ones to stay in business?

Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day and Easter are legitimate. But I draw the line at celebrating at Fruitcake toss Day, or Penquin Awareness Day. ( Actually recognized days ). National Oatmeal Day is in good taste, but the card sticks to the roof of my mouth. Of course, there are those special days that cry out for a Hallmark card such as National Kazoo Day and National Bubba Day. I always by cards for all the Bubba's in my life.

Does the tail wag the dog? Does Hallmark match existing holidays, or do they make up ones to stay in business?
In the case of "Yahoo Greetings"?

It is almost clearly apparent - the tail wags the dog . . .

Have you seen how each day of the year is designated as a 'holiday' day, worthy of individual recognition? and commemorated with it's own card offering? For use of 'paid' subscribers, naturally.

Actually tho, the American Card greetings choices are sometimes quite unusual, and worthy of some consideration! e.g. - the 'talking chins' card for Thanksgiving (really cute) - and it's able to be viewed, even if NOT a paid subscriber to the service.
Reply:I always wondered if Grandparents day was real. I think that one was made up.
Reply:If you want to share your love and stick it to the man at the same time, bypass the system. Make a home-made greeting...if she likes you then she'll like the way you express yourself.

FYI: December 2nd is Eat a Red Apple Day.
Reply:Hallmark does not make up holidays. They must already be recognized by...whoever makes holidays legitimate. There truly are some pretty weird holidays that seem fake, but somebody did make them real. It's really stupid though, because no one is gonna celebrate them, or buy the cards, unless they're like..obssessed with kazoos, or an ice cream addict or something. bwahaha.

by the way, grandparent's day is just as real as mother's or father's day. the only difference is that it is less celebrated.

honey you got to get out the abuse only gets worse and he's a cop he thinks he can get away with anything you have got to leave for your own peace of mine and your life for that matter
Reply:well some mans just act stupid they do not see what they have at front
Reply:Why don't you get a divorce?

You actually might qualify for an annulment.(cheaper than divorce)
Reply:Leave, anything is better than such a abusive relationship.
Reply:First thing to do is: Walk out of the house.

Walk out with the intention of leaving this marriage for good. Take some clothes, some makeup, some good running shoes, and just make your bag light. Have a plan of stay. Prepare folks you are coming over on that day.

Then the first person you call is His Boss! You have just made a formal compliant against a violant police officer and if his boss does not respond, you have got yourself a perfect legal lawsuit against the police department as well as the city.

Major money due in to you!
Reply:Run like hell leave is A%$ he really didnt take his vows seriously and well he could of told you what he really wanted and what he didnt but now he is abusing you yeah its time to get out and dont let that knowing he is a cop scare you there is alot of crooked cops out there so just have proof of everything and dont believe nothing that comes out of his mouth and get help FAST.....GOOD LUCK..
Reply:LEAVE before you sink into a hole that you cannot get out of. It is not worth the abuse and the pain..You are worth much more than that. GOOD LUCK!!
Reply:If any one of these things happened, I would leave him.

Because they have all happened, I think you should leave and also report him. Possibly you can speak to a different police department.

No one should have to live like this.
Reply:what were you thinkin anyways of marrying a popo..aka PIG...that should tell you everyting...
Reply:walk to door...open door...walk out of door...leave...go to payphone...call police...

Reply:Run... hard and fast..family or friends can help..
Reply:You are with a control freak and letting yourself slide down in to a dark place. PLEASE get help and get out. You are worthy of a real life and a real love. Don't let him destroy you and don't let you destroy yourself, little sister!!
Reply:You know that you need to get away from this monster, and you are looking for supporters. WE are all supporters here. Go to a safe place like your family or friends of yours and then make an appointment with a lawyer and also you need to get him off the force and fired from his job. He is a punk and needs to go to jail. Don't be afraid so much that it keeps you from making these calls. He is a dangerous person and will stop at nothing. LEAVE before he kills you.....
Reply:I agree with everyone else you MUST LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Go straight to your family and friends you need all the support and strength they can offer to help you in being strong to move through this. Get legal advice immediately and with the support of your family and friends start taking action to move forward in your life. As for the women who he is having the affair with please make sure if she is aware of his relationship with you as he could be lieing to her as well and become his next victim. Please leave now while you still have a life to live for if you stay you may just be robbed of this. You have already proven that you are strong to stay and put up with this from him, it's now time to be strong and show him you won't tolerate it any more by leaving.
Reply:Report Abuse!!! This is serious. You must leave him at once!
Reply:My Grandmother all ways told me, 'if a man ever hit you, girl run like hell and don't look back', and I am saying the same to you. If you love yourself then just start running; cause darling one unexpected blow and you could be dead. Take our advice and RUN LIKE HELL!!!!!

You can do this so don't doubt yourself. Life will go on and it will be beautiful make that move and you will see.

Reply:girl please... you need to dump him and get a pitbull and a gun. Call the cops FIRST. Damn that he is one.... no cop likes a woman beater. Make sure that you take pics of your bruises, and PRESS CHARGES. Dont believe the " baby Im sorry" bull crap. You have to think about YOU not him. If he is doing these things to you ITS NOT LOVE, its control. get out while your still breathing.
Reply:HE IS NOT INTO YOU!!! Please leave him as soon as possible for your own dignity. He'll never change for the better, how can you still have hope for a person that only know how to hurt you. PLEASE build up your own STRENGTH and move on, you still have a bright future ahead. Just put the past behind you. I know it's easier to say then do. But, you need to somehow move on!! Please seek help from the nearest counsel body.

How do I handle my relationship with my 12 yo step son after is mother and I are divorced?

He has always said that I am his best friend. he has made christmas/easter/valentines day cards for me and not for either of his parents. In school when asked to wite about his hero he wrote about me. I love him to death and hate to see him left with just his parents who are both unstable on some level.

How do I handle my relationship with my 12 yo step son after is mother and I are divorced?
Continue to stay in his life. He will need you. He is 12 and if he wants to continue seeing you he should be able to decide. He is certainly old enough. Be there as much as you have always been. He needs you and will miss you.
Reply:All u can do is be there for him.See him as much as u can.It sounds like u are the only stable thing in his life. So just keep it up.Good luck
Reply:if you are able to continue to have a relationship with him do so it will me so much to him... even if it is somewhat uncomfortable for you.... even if it is just keeping in contact through e-mail, letters. phone,

good luck!
Reply:Just always be there for him. Let him know that if he needs you you will be there. You can't do anything much more than that. I wish you the best with this.
Reply:have a talk with your ex. tell her you still want to be a part of your step son's life. he looks up to you and it would not be fair to just walk away from him. maybe ya'll could come up with a vistiation plan.
Reply:Step one is to get the mom's permission to have ongoing contact with him. If you two are in combat she could legally prevent you from having contact with him.

If she does OK continued contact with him make sure there is agreement with her about how that's done. She may be initially restrictive but loosen up if everything goes ok.

Finally no matter how difficult she is never bad-mouth her to her kid. I know you will be sorely tempted but if you are truely wanting to maintain a relationship with him that will be positive you must do that.

Beyond that don't act any different with him, be dependable and constant with him. Make your time with him less stressful, not more stressful, by staying out of inevidable conflicts between everyone else in his life.
Reply:Its great that you have this close relationship with him.I think it would be a terrible loss to both of you to end it.You will most likely find that he will become a better man if the 2 of you keep in touch. There are so many kids out there today that need someone to talk to and be a mentor to them. The sad thing is alot of parents don't take enough time to be that person.Hold your head high and show this young man what a real father figure should be.
Reply:I know of people who have stayed in touch with their step parents even after the divorce. He is a minor and his mom will be running his life for a while now, but as long as she still lets you play a role, don't step out of this child's life.
Reply:Continue to have a relationship with him if his mother will let you. If she is a decent person at all, she will let you. He is at a rough age and if you are not a part of his life, it could be devastating for him. Good luck!
Reply:Continue The Relationship Wit Him If His Parents Don't Mind. It Seems Like U Love Him Like He's Ur Own And Spend Time WIt Him Take Him Places. B His Step Daddy No Matter Wat N If Ur Not Allowed 2 Spend Time Wit Him Now Wat Until U R And Make Up 4 Lost Times Don't Let Anything Get Between That.

Am I just scared????

My man and I have been dating for a while. He is in the Air Force and he got shipped to Korea for a year. He has already been there for 6 months. He will be home in three weeks than will finish his other half in Korea. While he os over there I send him things at least once or twice a week. From movies, greeting cards, post cards, easter basket, pictures, etc. So that way he knows I am here. It's so hard being apart. We talk on the phone everyday and has not really had a fight. It feels so perfect. Since he is away I still spend time with his parents. when he gets back home we are going to live together. I am just scared that we wont get along. Right now its great but yet he is far away. Is it really going to work or am I just scared? Has anyone been in this situation or knows any one? Please help.

Am I just scared????
You are really worrying about nothing, the only way things have change if the both of you have change yourselves since being apart and that usually because of outside elements.

What is professional administrative day?

I was at the store and saw a card that said happy profesional administratives day! it was in the easter section. Im confused!

What is professional administrative day?
Someone put it back in the wrong place , professional administrative day is also known as secretaries day.
Reply:Secretaries day is to honour those hard working secretaries or p.a. for all the things they do. It's the day the bosses send them to lunch, give them flowers or a gift to show they actually appreciate the secretary's or p.a.'s efforts. Report Abuse

Should I make the 2 hour trip for my mother in law to see my 5 month old son?

My mother-in-law worked less then a mile for my house. She would never come to see my son. However she would drive 50 mins once a week to go see her daughter's children. When I had my son she didn't even come to the hospital bc she had to go to her daughter's house for thanksgiving dinner. Now that my husband, son and I moved 2 hours away she wants to see the baby all the time, but won't drive here bc she is scared to drive on the interstate. I don't feel I should have to make the drive for her. Am I wrong for thinking that way? For christmas didn't get him anything but a card... no money in it. easter my son didn't even get a card. HOWEVER her daughter's children both got a $50 gift for christmas and $30 for easter. I don't think she is playing fair.

Should I make the 2 hour trip for my mother in law to see my 5 month old son?
I would say most certainly NOT! It seems she didn't make much effort in the first place. If she worked less than a mile from you..there's NO reason why she couldn't stop bye. If grandma's want to see there grandchild trust me they will make that trip to see that baby! and she needs to treat all her grandchildren equal!! If she does for one...she should do for all! Sometimes it's a good thing that your not close to your in-laws..cause they can become to controlling. I know I'm there!! Good luck!
Reply:It is spelled "advice", you idiot. Report Abuse

Reply:tell her what you have written here and ask her to explain
Reply:say no more...i have the same type of mo'n law...NO U SHOULDN'T...
Reply:I was always told you shouldn't put kids on the interstate if you don't have to, in that case, she's being a real butt, i think and i would let her come, cause it's obviously she's playing favoritism, so i wouldn't
Reply:Why not is it You son? people drive 2 hours to work and back home everyday, so why not spend 2 hours to see u own son?
Reply:No it's a pain in the *** with a kid that young. If she would like to come visit she should come....because it's less effort for her.
Reply:it's a pity some people are like that...

I would do it once to cover my bases. Although it might not be rewarding, just do it once. But if she wants to see the baby again, let her know she's welcome to come and visit, maybe even spend the night.
Reply:Maybe visit once a year for family sake.
Reply:No!! if she want to see your son she should look for him. That would be a real grandma!!!

Mothers-in-law are soo hard to get!!
Reply:She sounds like a raging *****!

I would not do ANYTHING to accomodat her.

If she wants to see him, then she'll find a way to get there!

Can I call my ex girlfriend to wish her a happy Easter? We broke up 3 months ago.?

Well, I actually want to call her because i need her address so I can send her a card advertising a show I am in. So I figured today would be a good day. She dumped me, btw....still think of her every day.

Can I call my ex girlfriend to wish her a happy Easter? We broke up 3 months ago.?
if you call her that shows that you still want to be friends with her. Just don't be nervous when talking to her because she is goin to think that you still have feelings for her. Don't sound sad or anything. Sound as normal and happy. Talk to her as a friend.
Reply:Well, I think it would be okay! Good Luck Hun!
Reply:yeah!! that sounds fine, just call her
Reply:tell her of what you posted becuz she'd maybe come back to you and yah...she could maybe think of you too and she misses you..
Reply:yeah...just keep the conversation casual.

Breaking lease?

Recently my boyfriend caught my roommate snooping in my bedroom (which has a lock and is ALWAYS locked), she claimed she was looking for stolen Girl Scout cookies.... which is a legit reason to break in to someones room, right? I think not. I decided after the incedent to stay at friends/ boyfriends houses to keep myself away. For about 4 weeks I have not lived in my house,. and more random things have been missing (like an $80 bottle of perfume). Then i noticed my mail was coming late (as in, I got my cell phone bill 2 weeks after it was due, an Easter card from my grandparents a month late), im never home to collect mail, so its usually on the counter top. After not being there for about 3 weeks the girls started ganging up on me and writing harrassing notes about food missing and other things. im never home.. Ive been calling and writing my landlord to break lease for almost a month, because i feel as though im living ina hostile enviroment. are these good reasons to break lease?

Breaking lease?
Hello Kelsey:

Rent a P.O. Box from your local post office or Mailboxes etc. store. Contact all of the people who send you mail and have them send letters to the P.O. Box from now on.

Review your rental agreement, and see what options you have for breaking the lease. Your LL may allow you to find a sub, if they are willing to live with the other tenants.
Reply:You have to properly read your contract, there usually isn't anything in them to cover for your personal relationships with the people you live with, and how you get on with them. Sometimes you can get someone to take your place for the remainder of the contract so the landlord doesn't miss out on rent. The girls you live with sound really immature, and I don't blame you for wanting out of living with them. Good luck.
Reply:What you need to do is write a letter to the other lessees explaining why you are leaving. Be professional! Rise above! Then you have to try and sublet your room. Be sure to copy your landlord on your correspondence. Your landlord has the final say on your sublet. Make sure you run ads, put up flyers in the local cafes, etc. You have to show that you are making the effort to sublet.

You can continue to pay the rent while you are trying to sublet or if your roommates decide to cover your part of the rent while you are trying to sublet it...good...otherwise, everyone on the lease will be on the hook for your missed rent. He will not go after you alone, but all persons on the lease as contracted. Good luck and better luck next time with roommates!
Reply:if youre not compftable in your home, then finding a way to leave is a good idea. hopefully you can sublet it.
Reply:NO your landlord doesn't care about these things. You should have been more selective about who you moved in with. I am not trying to be mean to you but this is an expensive lesson. Good Luck
Reply:80$ for perfume? that's insane!!

I lost my images on my SD card for my digital camera?

I just took a bunch of pictures from Easter and somehow 95% of them are missing! i cannot see them on my computer or on my camera!! Is there any way to get them back (without paying)

I lost my images on my SD card for my digital camera?
There are free image recovery software packages of dubious quality.

Above that, some memory card makers ship image recovery software with their cards or available for download. For example, on their expensive cards, SanDisk includes a mini-CD with recovery software. You may have such a disk and not realized what was on it.

Other than those free options, you'll have to pay to rescue your images. The nice thing is that most offer free trials, so you can see what you would recover if you buy the software.

One that I've used to recover images is this one:

What's the funniest thing an old person has ever said to you?

My Grandpa who was really old sent my sister Callie an Easter card once that said inside: Happy Easter to a Very Good-looking Boy!!!. We still tease both of them about it. Oh, and once this old lady at wal-mart thought me and my two sister were triplets. (We're different ages, 12, 14 and 16 with completely different heights too. Plus, my little sister has black hair, I have brown hair and my older sister has redish hair :]

What's the funniest thing an old person has ever said to you?
I was working at a nursing home and i took out my phone to check the time and this woman asked to see it. So i gave it to her and she asked how it worked. And I showed her and then said it had a camera. and she was like:

"A CAMERA??? WHAT'S NEXT? A CAR TALKIN TO YOU"?

^.^ ooh! that was hilarious!
Reply:My grandmother sent me a birthday card that had a black girl sitting on a bench that said "To a beautiful girl on her birthday". I'm kinda white..... I laughed my butt off... Well, swear to God, she sent me the exact same card the very next year. I have no idea where she bought them, but it was hilarious.
Reply:A lot of elderly people can't hear well. I was holding a conversation with an old man and I was new in town. I told him that I can find a Little Ceasar anywhere. He pulled out a little scissor and told me that I could have it.
Reply:I was in a supermarket and this random old grandma came up and stroke my hair and said:

'You are a pretty girl'.

But i am a guy...It happened long times ago, but i still cant get rid of the weird sensation.
Reply:The funniest thing I hear all the time is "What was that?" or "What was that sound?" They just look so cute and confused when they do that.

some elderly japanese woman asked me "are you a computer geek?"

I mean WTF?

She was some random stranger who i hadn't ever seen before, and people were looking at me wierdly!
Reply:Smile, you may be on hidden camera!
Reply:an old man i never met told me i looked just like my mother. which is strange, because i was alone...
Reply:lol,, cant think of anything... ahh :]
Reply:i was at the mall with my sister (who was 2) and my mom who was at the time 38 , and at the time i was 12.

these old people came up to me and my sister(while my mom was in a store) and where like , "oh my how cute, out for a day with mommy huh?"

i was just like "ummm, ah, no i'm ... ah not her mom ."

they where like(after my mom came back) to me , "ohh so you must be the aunt?"

and my mom was like "haha, no she's my daughter so is the little one." and they just laughed and where like to me "dear you look so mature for your age i though you where in your 20's sorry for the misunderstanding".

i just smiled and nodded, my mom laugh and though it was funny i was kinda mortified.

How can I tell my 14 yr old to stay away from her dad?

My 14 year old loves her dad.

I wont allow her to see him.

He does drugs (cocaine) and shes even told me that he's done it and sold it in front of her. He's also a crook. He stole the $8.00 her Aunt gave her out of her Easter card years ago. He took a collection up for my son who died (not his child, and SIDS) and kept all fo the money. He pays Zero child support for her and her sister, as he does not work.

But she defends her dad tooth and nail. Her claws and fangs come out if anyone even mentions his name. I am taking him to court for back support cuz he hasnt paid in so long, and he showed her the court papers. (I show her and tellher nothing.)

How can I protect this child from undue harm if she is so defensive of him? She tells me she hates me for not liking her dad, she's going to kill me, blah blah blha...

She refuses to go see a counseler.

I am (almost) at my witts end. He is such a "bad boy" and can seriously do harm to her life.

How can I tell my 14 yr old to stay away from her dad?
She needs help and you'll not be able to provide it yourself. Get her to a skilled counselor. If you have something called a children's home in the area (they are no longer homes but are "repair stations" where children such as your daughter can go to learn new ways of dealing with life) talk with the admitting office there. (Just call and ask to talk with whoever admits kids.) They will be able to advise you.

Your daughter, at some level knows, but does not want to understand the peril in which her dad puts her. Kids don't yet recognize the consequences of actions. That may be because the absent parent if often idolized irrationally in the case of separation.
Reply:that's a tough one....i think when she gets older she may realize why you kept her away....maybe you could get her into a hobby...my niece was the same way not to long ago... and I asked her " if you were a mommy what would you do to protect your baby from hurt?" she did some thinking and she is now coming around....her dad is the same way, and she acted the same way..my sister got her into some sports and other activities, she is making new friends and all is good, so far...

children usually need someone to blame..give it a couple years and she will come around..GOOD LUCK..:-)
Reply:Too bad you never knew what kind of person this man was before you made this bad choice, but he is her father and that is forever. He is nothing to you. You must allow your daughter to see him. If you don't, the resentment will come back and affect your relationship with her. Be sure to keep the communication channels open. Talk to your ex and if he continues his destructive behaviour then see what legal options you have. Maybe think about Counselling for him if he is willing (But not likely). Definitely counselling would help your daughter, but it will be difficult.
Reply:Wow that's a tough one. Maybe you should start by telling her some of the things that you would prefer not to tell her. Just explain to her that you fear for her safety and that the only reason you are doing this is because you love her. I'm sure that her father loves her as well but people with drug habits are so into their drug that they don't see they are hurting the loved ones around them. She is 14 years old and not an adult yet so you still have the control here. Don't let her have the control and keep on threatening you. Make her go and see a counsellor, don't give her that choice. Remember that you do what you see and if she sees her Dad doing drugs etc, she may eventually learn to think that it is ok for her to do it as well. Be careful and best of luck.
Reply:unfortunatley, curbing the love and fierce loyalty your daughter has for her wayward father will be next to impossible. He will definately influence her in negative ways, because his ways are appealing to a teenager. I wouldn't be surprised if she starts emulating his behavior and getting herself in all kinds of trouble. The only solution that I see for this problem is to move far enough away from him so that she cannot see him. It sounds like your daughter is in for some big time hurt by her dad somewhere down the line that will maybe open her eyes to the kind of man he really is. Good luck.
Reply:Well you are her MOTHER force her to see a counselor. You have the right. She needs to know what her fathers like otherwise she'll end up hurt.

Show her the court papers tell her the truth, she may not like it but fact of the matter is she'll like it a lot less when her imaginary world comes crashing down around her when he does actually hurt her. So you might as well let her know the truth.

I'd talk to a therapist or doctor on how to make her see the truth, maybe talk to other drug addicts in rehab or that have cleaned up. Let them tell her what her father is like or will be like. The harm he is doing and will do.

I know you realize this situation could be dangerous and I think you should get a restraining order for you and your daughter or if possible supervised visits. People on cocaine tend to get violent or at least my father did with me.

You can't force her to accept the truth but one day she will thank you for what you need to do.. It may not be any time soon but one day she'll realize
Reply:Is there a way for her to have supervised visits with her father? I believe you are attempting to protect her, but your efforts set you up as the "bad guy" in this. In addition, all kids do need to know both parents, warts, drugs, crookedness, and all. She doesn't need to hang out with him, but she does need to be able to have some kind of visitation with him. She's behaving the way every kid does when one parent blocks their knowledge and contact with the other. She needs to understand that your "not liking" her dad is not the reason you have not allowed her to see him. Unless it really is the reason, which is bad on you. Kids develop their self concept from their parents, regardless of who they are, and you are fighting her desire to know half of the source of that self concept, which is her father. My concern would be that if you don't figure out a way to have safe %26amp; supervised visits between them, in a few years she will be old enough to drive and will go hang out with him. You have a very small remaining window of time to get some loving balance injected into the triangle here between you, her, and the man with whom you did create her. If she won't go to counseling, then you should, just to get some outside perspective and support. She will not go if the idea behind your suggestion is clearly "we need to fix you, we are going to gang up and fix you". Even better would be if the two of you went for family counseling %26amp; mediation over this. It has the potential to destroy your relationship with her, beyond the rebellion of the teenage years right now, and the potential to push her to spend more time with dad when she can do it on her own. Right now you could satisfy the curiosity with supervised visits.

Need evaluation of a girl situation...?

I met this girl a month ago a sushi shop. We seem to have pretty good conversations. I asked her for her email but she gave me one that didnt work. Could have been that she had not used it for awhile and it became inactive; or could be that she didnt want me to have it because she did'nt know me well enough before. Since then, on 3 seperate occasions I have given her.

1) A friend type card

2) A little thing of chocolate candy (99 cents)

3) A easter card + beanie baby + small chocolate candy.

I also brought her coffee once.

She has thanked me for each. Has never said anything negative; like "I have a boyfriend" or "I don't feel comfortable with you buying me gifts" -- Anything to that effect. Our conversations still seem alright.

What I am trying to figure out is if she is just being nice to me; just to be nice... or if she might like me. Today I said hello and asked her when her birthday was and she told me so she seems pretty open... then she asked me for mine...

Need evaluation of a girl situation...?
Especially if she's a nice church-goeing girl, she won't put out any obvious negative signals...trust me I am one of those girls. Have you noticed her conversation to be full of short responses and such? That is a definite sign she's probably not interested. She won't do anything to hurt you in any way (saying she doesn't want to talk to you, pushing you away, etc...) but she won't initiate anything (coming to see you in your office). You've made it pretty darn clear you are interested in learning more about her, but she is either uninterested in you or she's really just shy..... That one is up for you to decide.

P.S. if she's shy...confronting her won't work because an argument will definitely not help her say how she feels.

She might just be confused, or going through something else in her life right now. My best advice is to wait. Maybe she will build up some courage if she is shy, or she can have more time to work out any problems she's having in other areas of her life.
Reply:Why don't you get her phone number and/or ask her to get together for lunch/dinner/whatever?

How thankful should I be? A friend did some sewing for me..?

She took my old bunny suit and used it as a template to make me a new bunny costume, which I use to volunteer as the Easter Bunny for kids, I gave her the fabric and the puffy tail and she added thread and time and turned it into the best bunny suit ever. I want to get her a gift card to thank her, but don't know what denomination to get. The original costume cost $50, but that was only 'cause the place was going out of business. And she didn't do the head, just the body. (But she did OFFER to do the head- she's a great person)

How thankful should I be? A friend did some sewing for me..?
Try to estimate how many hours she put into the costume. Multiply that by what you deem as a fair "wage" per hour.

$50 seems to be about right, it is a nice amount and definitely indicates that you are grateful for her work well done.

What a great friend she is!
Reply:Get her a $30 gift card.
Reply:I would get her a gift certificate at a place you know she shops.....even a grocery store will work.

People have a hard time accepting money for a good deed. It kind of cheapens the generosity. A gift card is more of an exchange of gifts........her time and your appreciation.

Doesn't sound like she did it for any other reason than she was skilled enough and cared enough to help you out. NIce lady!

New Jersey people answer please..?

DOES IT ANNOY ANYONE EALSE THAT WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT JERSEY THEY REFER TO IT AS "OH THE GARBAGE STATE" OR "WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GO TO JERSEY?!" .. also does it every annoy you how people talk about Newark and Camden and Trenton and these people have never even been there?! I mean ive lived in Newark my whole life and maybe if people actually came and saw the poverty and stuff they would realize that its not just all crap and drugs?! And there are REALLY nice places like Sparta, Moutian Lakes, and Mendam!

Im sorry im just really annoyed about this.. My dad was a Newark cop who was killed on duty when i was younger-why dont people out of jersey realize that theres more to the state then jut drugs, gas, and garbage like people who actually care about it - like my dad who gave his life to protect it

There was an easter card once i saw when i was little and it said "top nine places to hide and easter egg" and the second place was-you guessed it-new jersey..

New Jersey people answer please..?
Jersey isn't the only place that has bad places..I mean not all of Jersey is bad. I live in Wildwood, and lots of people come here, it's nice. Every place has drugs and crime, not just Jersey. Sorry about your dad, he must have been really brave!
